The 29-year-old actress, who has been dating Shepard for approximately two years, showed off her engagement ring on the red carpet at the Grammy awards last night.
Bell's representative confirmed to Us Magazine that 35-year-old Shepard proposed to Bell over the Christmas holidays and she accepted.
Bell recently said: "There is almost nothing, barring a natural disaster, that I would let eat into my time at home, playing Scrabble with Dax or talking to my girlfriends."
