The Shot At Love star released a sonogram photograph last month to confirm that she is expecting her first child.
Speaking to E! Online, she said: "What's the point of having a Twitter when everyone twists things I say around?
"People can say s**t about me, that's fine I don't care, but talk s**t about my unborn? I get pissed… I'm a happy mummy and I am going to stay that way… by leaving Twitter!"
Her last tweet reportedly said: "We have had our fun times together, but my time on Twitter has run its course! Deleting."
Other celebrities to have quit Twitter include Miley Cyrus, Lily Allen and Chris Brown.
