Alexandra Burke 'worried about health'

Alexandra Burke has revealed that she is concerned about hereditary disease in her family.

The 'Broken Heels' singer is reportedly worried that she will be diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, which has already affected three generations.

"My nan and my great-nan both had exactly the same thing," she told The Sun. "I have to be careful - I have to watch what I eat."

Burke's mother, ex Soul II Soul singer Melissa Bell, suffers from kidney failure caused by diabetes and needs dialysis sessions while she waits for a transplant.

Burke recently denied reports that her mother is jealous of her success, insisting that she is "unbelievable proud" instead.
