Jacksons 'want harsher sentence for Murray'

Michael Jackson's family believe that the expected charge of involuntary manslaughter isn't strong enough for his former physician Conrad Murray.

According to The AP, a statement from the family's attorney characterises the indictment as just a "slap on the wrist".

"[And it's] a slap in the face, because Michael Jackson was someone who we knew was in danger of being brought to his knees, brought to his death, by the use of these medications," said lawyer Brian Oxman.

Earlier today, it was reported that the Los Angeles District Attorney's office has delayed filing charges against Murray until tomorrow.
