Coleen Nolan backs Madonna, Luz split

Coleen Nolan has predicted that Madonna is feeling "relieved" after splitting from younger lover Jesus Luz.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the 51-year-old singer had been dumped by Luz, 23, after their age difference and busy schedules caused romance problems.

Writing in her column for The Mirror, Loose Women star Nolan commented: "Go on, Madge, admit it - you're relieved to have been binned by your toyboy."

She continued: "I bet as we speak Madonna's merrily digging out her winceyette pyjamas again and binning all that black silk nonsense she had to wear while dating a man 28 years her junior.

"And she'll be joyfully retuning her radio to the American version of Radio 2 and away from all that crashing and banging music that I suspect her younger man, Jesus, would have enjoyed.

"Yes, it was probably fun while it lasted, but if you are getting a hot flush because of your age rather than a rush of passion, it is probably time to move on."

Madonna started dating Luz following her divorce from film director Guy Ritchie.
