On pulling up to Baglioni's hotel in Kensington in the early hours of Sunday morning, her people were disgusted to find that the staff had not taken the trouble to lay a red carpet adorned with white candles for the coming of Mariah.
Unimpressed, Carey's limousine drove around the block in the hope of a better reception on the party's return.
MRIB reports that she has booked a modest 15 rooms, some at the princely sum of £2000 a night, for herself and her party while she visits the UK to promote her new album.
