The What A Girl Wants actress had recently been tweeting about being in a new relationship, which sparked speculation that the two were an item.
Bynes posted: "The guy I love is the most talented person ever!!!!!! I'm irritated that a certain guy didn't win certain awards... He deserved them!!!"
The message prompted reports that the 23-year-old was seeing the Canadian rapper after he failed to scoop either of his nominations at the recent Grammy Awards.
However, Bynes later returned to her Twitter page to deny the claims, adding: "FYI I've never met Drake! We have a mutual friend but we haven't met yet!
"So for some reason people think we're dating but we're not."
