Bertinelli 'wants to run Boston Marathon'

Valerie Bertinelli has said that she would like to run the Boston Marathon.

The actress, who has already lost 40lbs as the spokeswoman for Jenny Craig, told People that she wants to run the race before she turns 50.

"For me, my 2010 goal, believe it or not, is to run the Boston Marathon, four days before I turn 50!" she confirmed at a Jenny Craig press conference in Los Angeles.

Last year, the celebrity completed a half-marathon, but insisted that she still finds 26.2 miles a little daunting.

"I'm a little nervous. I'm a little excited. Just keep your fingers crossed and wish me luck," she added.
