Britney's little sister parted ways with Casey Aldridge in December before going on to date 28-year-old businessman James Watson, reports Star magazine.
Spears, 18, gave birth to her daughter Maddie in 2008, having accepted Aldridge's marriage proposal. The teen actress later called off the wedding after stating that she was "not ready to be a wife".
Her new partner owns his own communications company near Spears's Louisiana hometown.
"They started dating last December. I don't think James cares at all about who she is; they really seem to like each other," a source said.
