Murphy's husband: 'No drugs were involved'

Simon Monjack has refuted claims of drug involvement in the death of his wife Brittany Murphy.

It was revealed yesterday by the coroner that the actress and singer was emaciated at the time of her passing.

British screenwriter Monjack said: "My wife had not taken any drugs that could harm her that morning."

Speaking on Larry King Live, the widower emotionally recalled Murphy's words to her mother on the morning of her death: "Mum, I'm dying".

He added: "Her eyes were not right. They were darting off left, right and centre."
