Taylor Swift 'spends $2m on new apartment'

Taylor Swift has spent $2 million on a new apartment in Nashville, according to reports.

The country singer's purchase, situated near the city's downtown area, is said to have 24-hour concierge service and tight security.

Swift told In Touch Weekly: "I’m so excited! I love Nashville. I never expected that all this would happen to me.

However, the 20-year-old revealed that she does not always spend so extravagantly: "I love Target and Walmart - I find the coolest things there."
