Andre: 'Price's wedding gave me closure'

Peter Andre has revealed that he is not upset that his ex-wife Katie Price has married Alex Reid.

The 'Behind Closed Doors' singer explained that his main priority is his children, 4-year-old Junior, 2-year-old Princess Tiaamii and his 7-year-old stepson Harvey.

"I wasn't upset because of the wedding, absolutely not," he told the News of the World. "To me it was the best closure I could have asked for.

"Once she became Mrs Reid it's not my business anymore. I stepped away from the circus a long time ago. Whatever is to do with the kids will be my business."

Speaking about his recent tearful appearance on Sky News, Andre explained: "Watching a video of Dwight Yorke having a go at me on TV, which I was totally not prepared for, triggered off an emotion.

"People were coming up to me today saying, 'Just think the best thing to come out of this marriage is two lovely children'. I said, 'No, three lovely children'. That is the way it is. I love Harvey very much and always will."

Andre added that he has no plans to rush into a new relationship, explaining: "It's safe to say it's going to be a long time before I get married.

"I'm going to keep any relationship private and well away from my children unless it's serious."
