Her mother, who is Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, said that the hunt for the perfect outfit for both her and her daughter is still a work in progress.
"If you don't tell anybody... we're still looking," Hilary is quoted by People magazine as saying. "I don't have a dress yet, and Chelsea doesn't either. We're working on it."
She also said: "It's a new status for me being an MOTB [Mother Of The Bride] but I am very proud to have that status."
Chelsea is believed to be marrying childhood friend Mac Mezvinsky this summer.
