Charlie Sheen charged over Mueller row

Charlie Sheen has been charged over his violent Christmas Day bust-up with wife Brooke Mueller in Aspen.

According to TMZ, the actor was booked on felony menacing, misdemeanour third-degree assault and misdemeanour criminal mischief offences.

The couple, who have both affirmed their eagerness to reunite, were present at the courthouse.

The judge also scaled back the protective ruling against Sheen to allow the pair to contact each other.

However, Sheen remains prohibited from consuming alcohol, harassing Mueller or being in possession of firearms. He is expected back in court during March.
