Britney to work in fast-food restaurant

Britney Spears is planning on working in her father's fast-food restaurant over the summer, according to The Sun today.

Spears' father, Jamie, became the owner of JJ Chill in Venice, California, last year - and Britney visited the restaurant last week to learn the ropes.

Joseph Nejman, Jamie's business partner, told People magazine, "Britney was in the kitchen, learning how to make the chili and smoothies.

"She said she wants to work here twice a week during the summer. She wanted to design her own waitressing uniform.

"She seemed more excited about what she was going to wear than learning about making the smoothies!"
