According to The AP, the rapper's sentence in a New York City gun possession case was given a reprieve so that he can finish a string of dental surgeries.
His sentencing, which was due to begin today, is now set for March 2. A judge has said that it won't be put off further.
Wayne pleaded guilty in October to attempted gun possession. The case stems from a police stop of his tour bus in 2007.
He also recently admitted that he has quit his long-standing cough syrup addiction.
