DJ Zoe Ball is struggling to save her marriage, after receiving devastating news about her dream of becoming a mother again.

Ball has apparently been trying for a baby with husband Norman Cook for three years, but is suffering from polycystic ovaries syndrome (PCOS), which can lead to infertility.

The blow to Zoe's baby dreams has caused problems in her marriage, according to the Sunday Mirror.

A friend told the newspaper, "Things just deteriorated between them. Deep down Norman is frustrated that Zoe hasn't been able to get pregnant again. Zoe then felt Norman was being distant so she is now focusing on other things.

"All their friends have seen a change in Zoe. She is throwing herself back into TV and spending all her time in London. She seems to be on this rollercoaster, where work and partying are on the agenda and Norman is taking a back seat.

"It's obvious things aren't right between them. They're never together."

Zoe's agent has denied rumours of a rift between the pair.
