Gazza 'urged to ditch drinking buddy'

Paul Gascoigne's loved ones have urged him to cut all ties with his latest alleged drinking partner, a report claims.

According to the Daily Star, Gascoigne's family are "worried sick" over the influence of 40-year-old Mickey Harvey, who is believed to have been with the ex-sportsman during his recent brushes with the law.

Gascoigne has been arrested twice in the last week following alleged alcohol-related incidents.

A source told the newspaper: "What Harvey doesn't realise is that he's playing with someone who is seriously ill.

"Gazza is an alcoholic. He is risking his life every time he drinks. His family want him to stay away from this man so he can get well."
