Walsh 'confident' about presenting role

Kimberly Walsh has claimed that she will be at "an advantage" when she presents at the BAFTA awards next month.

The Girls Aloud star admitted that she is confident with her role because she is used to being interviewed on the red carpet.

"I'm usually on the other side of the microphone, usually answering the questions," she said.

"So maybe that will give me an advantage, because hopefully I know what kind of questions people will be happy to answer.

"I'll hopefully be able to get a good relationship with the people I'm interviewing, as I know what it's like to be on the other side. That's what I'm hoping for anyway."

The Sony Ericsson & Orange BAFTA Show is broadcast on MTV at 6.30pm on February 22.
