Courtney Love restraining order 'extended'

A Los Angeles judge has reportedly extended the custody order restricting Courtney Love's access to her teenage daughter Frances Bean Cobain.

Superior Court judge Mitchell Beckloff ruled that the restraining order, which was issued in December to transfer custody of the 17-year-old to Cobain's mother and sister, will remain active until April 9.

According to E! Online, it is still unknown as to why the guardianship battle emerged in the first place.

Love, whose husband and Frances's dad Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1994, has had a history of debt, parole violations and arrests over drugs.

The Hole singer was expected to perform at London's Proud Camden last night.
