V Festival tickets sell out

The tickets for this year's V Festival have sold out in just three hours.

Featuring artists such as Embrace, Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters and Kaiser Chiefs, the event will be held at Staffordshire's Weston Park and Chelmsford's Hylands Park on the weekend of August 20/21.

Festival director Bob Angus is quoted by the NME as saying: "With the amazing line up announced so far and it being the tenth anniversary, we're pleased, but not entirely surprised that tickets sold out so quickly."
