Pop Idol runner-up Gareth Gates is planning to attack the charts with his new band.
itv.com reports that the Spirit In The Sky singer has been rehearsing with his new band in London in the hope of making a revival with a Busted/McFly flavour.
Gareth, 20, reportedly hopes to release a record with the new outfit this summer.
