Gary Linekar and wife 'want kids'

Gary Lineker's wife has revealed that the newly-weds are planning to expand their family within the next few years.

Model Danielle Bux, 30, said that children are "definitely in the future" for the couple, who married last September at a quiet ceremony on Italy's Amalfi Coast.

Bux, who has eight-year-old daughter Ella from a previous relationship, said that she is coming to terms with being a step-mum to Lineker's four sons and believes that their shared experience of parenthood strengthens their bond.

"I don’t think the relationship would work so well if we didn't both have children. We understand each other," she told The Mirror, adding that more children are on the cards.

"We've discussed it and definitely in the future. I don't want to leave it too late, because I don't want to be an old mum, so maybe in a couple of years," she went on to say.

Bux met Lineker in 2007 during a blind date set up by a mutual friend and said that she knew he was "the one" within a couple of months.
