A spokesperson for Beyoncé has denied rumours that the star's final concert in Brazil was disrupted by gunfire.

Previous reports had claimed that fans were confronted by people with guns when they left the venue in Salvador.

However, the star's representative told Us Weekly: "The reports of gunfire during Beyoncé's concert in Brazil that allegedly ended her show early are totally false.

"Beyoncé played to record crowds on her recent tour in Brazil without incident, including an audience of 60,000 in Sao Paolo on Saturday, February 6 and two sold-out shows in Rio on February 7 and 8."

Beyoncé, who is currently on the South American leg of her 'I Am...' world tour, will perform in Santiago, Chile, on Tuesday.
