The actress will star in a revival of the comedy drama La Bete, the Daily Mail reports.
Mark Rylance and Frasier actor David Hyde Pierce will also appear in the production, which is about a theatre troupe in 17th century France.
The play will begin with a limited run in London this spring, before transferring to New York in the autumn.
It will be the first time Lumley has appeared on Broadway.
