Flavor Flav 'owes $63,000 child support'

Flavor Flav reportedly owes over $63,000 (£40,197) in back child support.

The New York Post reports that the Public Enemy star has three children with Mary Parker and now owes $63,458 (£40,488) in payments.

Parker filed to amend the child support arrangement in 2008 because the original agreement from 1996 only covered two of the children.

In January, she won an appeal to raise the rapper's weekly payments from $117 (£74) to $837.72 (£534.50) plus tuition fees and it was made retroactive to the 2008 agreement.

"The judgement is recent as I was just made aware of it," Flavour Flav said. "I'll certainly be addressing it."

He added: "However, I've made payments on my children's tuition and have made direct payment to the mother outside of the court order."

Flavor Flav was involved in a minor car crash last month.
