DiCaprio, Refaeli deny engagement

Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli have denied recent rumours of a Valentine's Day engagement.

The Titanic actor, who was first romantically linked to model Refaeli in 2005, was believed to have proposed to her after she was seen wearing a gold band on her ring finger at the Cinema For Peace Gala in Germany yesterday.

A friend of DiCaprio told Us Magazine that the reports that the star got down on one knee at the Hotel de Rome before celebrating at Grill Royal in Berlin are "not true".

Last year, the couple dismissed speculation that they had got married.
