Helio Castroneves 'melted at baby's birth'

Helio Castroneves has reportedly admitted that he "melted" when his baby daughter was born last year.

The racing driver and former Dancing With The Stars winner welcomed daughter Mikaella with girlfriend Adriana Henao on December 28.

Speaking to ET Online, he said: "I was melting… What a feeling. It was difficult to describe. Women, to go through the whole process, I respect very much now - even more... It was priceless, an incredible feeling."

Henao added: "He's an amazing father. He's been helping a lot, it's not even funny. He's been changing diapers, he does the night shift very often - I try to help him and he's like, 'No no no, don't worry, go back to sleep'."

The pair also gave the cameras access to the baby's nursery as they completed a photoshoot at home an for upcoming issue of People.
