DiCaprio: 'Loneliness is my demon'

The actor explained that he found it difficult to be away from his friends and family, Contactmusic reports.
"The loneliness is my personal demon," he said. "During the shooting of the movie it was like I fell into a black hole and was totally depressed."
DiCaprio added: "You're cut off from friends, family and your girlfriend. That's brutal. The world kept turning while I was stuck on the set. It's like a strange form of everyday amnesia."
DiCaprio recently admitted that he found filming Shutter Island "traumatic".
