The 'Rude Boy' singer, whose milestone carnival-themed birthday party last year was cancelled after her assault by now ex Chris Brown, turned 22-years-old on Saturday.
According to Perez Hilton, the Dodgers baseball player, who is speculated to be dating Rihanna, was rumoured to have recruited the singer’s "closest friends, good Jamaican food, a photo booth, dancing and a nice cake" for the bash.
An insider said: "Matt really wanted to do something nice for Rihanna this year since she didn't have much of a 21st birthday last year."
The celebration is rumoured to have taken place at a private residence in Phoenix where Kemp is staying for spring training.
