Cheryl Cole to lie detector Ashley?

Cheryl Cole is apparently considering making husband Ashley take a lie detector test.

The singer is believed to be heading home from Los Angeles to confront the cheating Chelsea and England defender on Wednesday, and could force him to undergo a polygraph test.

According to the Daily Star, Ashley would be made to answer a series of questions about his alleged infidelities.

A friend of Cole told the publication, last night: "At least by doing a lie detector test Cheryl will know one way or another whether what Ashley tells her is true or just a pack of lies.

"And if he is lying, I expect their marriage will be history."
