Cheryl Cole praises "sweetheart" Hough

Cheryl Cole has referred to rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough as a "sweetheart".

The pair were recently spotted on a date in Los Angeles in the wake of the 'Fight For This Love' singer's husband Ashley's alleged affairs with other women.

Speaking to MTV, Cheryl said: "I've actually got Derek Hough as the choreographer for this video, he is a massive ballroom dancer!

"I absolutely love Derek's work so it's a pleasure to be working with him. He's a sweetheart and he makes the day more enjoyable."

The star has reportedly since split with the Chelsea footballer.
