The Mean Girls star, who travelled to India in December to film a BBC documentary about human trafficking, said that she wants to start afresh following her break-up from DJ Samantha Ronson.
Lohan wrote on her Twitter page: "Moving to the UK is in my near future. Better DJs/music and Paris is just a Chunnel away!"
The 23-year-old recently said: "Where do I see myself in five years? Having my own charity, doing a film that's nominated. I don't know. I can't decide what's going to happen. I don't want to know, actually. That's the nice thing about life. It's a bit mysterious."
