Coronation Street's Nikki Sanderson and Danny Young could be about to split up, according to The People today.
The soap stars starting dating last year, as their characters grew closer on the show. However, Young was axed from the soap in February this year, which is now causing problems in their relationship.
The newspaper claims that Young wants Sanderson to move to London with him once he films his final scenes for Coronation Street, but Nikki is keen to stay with the ITV1 soap.
Nikki was spotted having a furious argument with Danny outside the set of the show.
An onlooker told the newspaper, "Nikki was pointing in Danny's face and shouting at him. She looked furious. Danny looked embarrassed and didn't know what to say. He kept trying to hug her but she pushed him away and stormed off."
A source added, "In public they are putting on a big show declaring their love but privately they know it could be the end of the road."
