Charges against Pete Doherty dropped
Charges of robbery and blackmail against former Libertines singer Pete Doherty have been dropped.

Doherty and fellow musician Alan Wass were arrested on February 2 following an alleged dispute with documentary-maker Max Carlish over photographs that appeared in newspapers reporting the star's heroin addiction.

The BBC reports that the Crown Prosecution Service have confirmed that charges against both men have been abandoned.
