Michael Jackson's former publicist has testified that he saw the star lick a boy's head. The boy's family reached an out-of-court settlement with Jackson in 1994.
Bob Jones, Jackson's publicist from 1987 until his dismissal last year, said that he did not remember the incident. However, with reference to emails concerning a book Jones is writing which mentions the licking, he admitted: "I would not have made it up."
Prosecutors also learned from co-author Stacy Brown that he had spoken about the incident on numerous occasions, explaining how he had seen the star lick the boy's head whilst travelling on an aeroplane from the 1993 World Music Awards in Monaco.
Prosecutor Gordon Auchincloss called upon the manuscript to the upcoming book, The Man Behind The Mask, quoting excerpts describing how Jackson and the boy were "holding each other tightly" in an "almost romantic embrace" engaging in "cooing" and head-licking.
