Ashley Cole 'laughs off Cheryl split'

Ashley Cole has reportedly laughed off the end of his marriage.

Cheryl Cole decided to leave the footballer earlier this week after allegations that he had cheated on her with up to five women.

Later reports claimed that Ashley has begged the singer to see him and is still wearing his wedding ring.

However, the Daily Star says that he laughed about the split at the medical centre in France where he is being treated for a broken ankle.

One patient reportedly said: "I asked him how he was coping and he said that he 'didn't give a f**k'. He said he was just concentrating on getting fit. He's one real tough cookie. To look at him you'd never believe he was a man in crisis.

"He and the lads have been laughing together and grinning at some of the pretty girls here. I guess there are plenty more fish in the sea for him. It looks like he genuinely doesn't think he's done anything wrong and has hardly a worry in the world - except getting fit for the World Cup."

The patient said that Cole is mainly focusing on his recovery but added: "He's texting and texting away on his phone. That's the only indication he gives that somewhere away from the clinic there is another part of his life."

Earlier reports have claimed that Cole is now planning to move to Spain.
