Marie Osmond's son commits suicide

Marie Osmond's teenage son has committed suicide.

According to Entertainment Tonight, 18-year-old Michael Blosil jumped from his apartment building in Los Angeles on Friday night.

He left a suicide note explaining that he decided to kill himself because of a battle with depression which made him feel as if he had no friends and would never fit in.

Osmond said: "My family and I are devastated and are in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time."

Meanwhile, her brother Donny said: "Please pray for my sister and her family."

Donny and Marie's Las Vegas show has been cancelled tonight.
