Ricky Hatton in eye cancer scare

Ricky Hatton was reportedly terrified after thinking he had eye cancer, reports claim.

The boxer thought he might have the disease after his manager Paul Speak pointed out a picture published in the Daily Star.

Speak revealed: "My wife had a look at the photo and thought she had spotted the signs of cancer.

"So we took some more photos and examined them to see if the white reflection was there every time."

Eye surgeon Bernard Chang added: "It does look a bit strange. It's not a typical red-eye because it's white.

"You can see in the right eye the flash has gone straight in and straight out but, in the left eye, the light is like it's been reflected off a slightly different surface."
