Simpson: 'True love is being accepting'

Jessica Simpson has revealed that you should never try to change the person you are in a relationship with.

The singer and actress, who used to be married to Nick Lachey and has dated John Mayer and Tony Romo, said that people have to accept others for "who they are".

Simpson wrote on her Twitter page: "You can't love someone else to change them. Happiness comes from accepting who they are. It is our decision to really know who we love."

She recently revealed that she would like to be with an "artistic" man, despite saying that she doesn't "even have a type" when it comes to boyfriends.
