Maddy Ford 'hurt by Andre backlash'

Peter Andre's ex-lover Maddy Ford fears that she has become a hate figure after speaking publicly about their time together, a report has claimed.

At the weekend, Andre was forced to admit that he had a three-month fling with the former glamour model after she lifted the lid on their encounters in a tabloid interview.

According to the Daily Star, Ford has now told friends that she is shocked by the backlash she has since received and regrets selling her story.

A source told the newspaper: "Maddy had never planned to talk about her relationship with Peter. She fell in love with him but then suddenly he dropped her.

"She never wanted to hurt him but she knew that the press were sniffing around the story and wanted it to be in her own words. She felt that she painted him in a good light and never expected this backlash.

"Her own friends have even sent her nasty messages and told her they were disappointed in her. All she did was fall in love. Now she is worried that the fling has ruined her life."

Andre recently said that his meetings with Ford were a "mistake" and vowed not to have casual sex again.
