Brittany Murphy 'leaves assets to mum'

Brittany Murphy has reportedly left all her assets to her mother Sharon.

TMZ says that Murphy, who passed away in December, originally wrote a handwritten will leaving everything to her mum.

She allegedly then drafted a formal will and a trust after marrying husband Simon Monjack in 2007. This document also leaves everything to Murphy's mother.

Monjack explained that at his request, the will contains the line: "I am married to Simon Monjack who I have intentionally left out of this will."
