A recent report had suggested that the American Pie star and Dancing With The Stars professional Hough, who confirmed their split last August, were still dating.
However, speaking to Gossip Cop, a spokesperson for Elizabeth insisted that the report is "inaccurate", saying: "Shannon and Derek have been broken up for some time now."
Hough has recently been linked to newly-single Cheryl Cole after the pair were spotted hanging out together in Los Angeles, with one report suggesting that they had been on a date. Hough was also reported to have been seen leaving Cole's hotel room early in the morning.
