Lisa Gastineau has said that her face was disfigured after a recent operation to remove skin cancer.
The Gastineau Girls star had a non-fatal basal cell carcinoma removed from the inside of her nose last October. The operation removed part of Gastineau's nostril and left the 50-year-old in need of reconstructive nasal surgery.
"I was feeling a bit like Phantom of the Opera - really ugly and disfigured," Gastineau told People. "I'm grateful to have this behind me now."
Gastineau underwent corrective plastic surgery on February 26. The surgery was performed by Dr Frank Ryan, who is best known for Heidi Montag's full body makeover.
The reality star, along with her daughter Brittny, have designed a Shaded Sun pendant for their Tres Glam jewellery line. Partial proceeds from the sale of the pendant will benefit cancer charities.
