'American Pie' actor arrested for drink driving

Actor Chris Klein could spend up to a year in prison after being arrested for drink driving.

The American Pie star was charged for two misdemeanours when he was caught out on February 5. Each charge carries a maximum of six months jail time upon conviction.

Officers reported Klein's blood-alochol level to be 0.20 or higher, more than twice the California limit of 0.08.

The incident occured more than a month before he split from actress girlfriend Katie Holmes.
