Michael Blosil, 18, is believed to have jumped from his apartment building in Los Angeles on Friday night. It is reported that he had been battling with depression.
Speaking to ET Online, Donny said: "Whenever there's a situation where there needs to be rallying, the Osmonds rally around each other and support each other and there's a lot of that going on right now."
The singer added that his entire family had arrived in Las Vegas to support Marie, and "it meant a lot to her to have us at her house".
A message on Marie's official website states that The Donny & Marie Show at Flamingo Las Vegas has been cancelled this week and is scheduled to resume on March 9.
