Paradis asks Depp to quit new Jolie film?

Johnny Depp's partner Vanessa Paradis has reportedly urged him to quit a new film project which features Angelina Jolie.

According to the New York Post, Paradis - who shares two children with the actor - became concerned after she discovered that Depp and Jolie are to film a steamy love sequence in their upcoming movie The Tourist.

Paradis is believed to have since asked the actor to step down from the movie because of Jolie, who is widely credited for breaking up Brad Pitt's five-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston.

"Vanessa found out that there was a real long and intense love scene between [Depp] and Jolie," a source said. "He's currently trying to [get out of the movie], but I don't know if he's succeeded. But he's trying and they're talking about replacing him with Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio."

In the film, Jolie is due to play an Interpol agent who seduces Depp, a tourist, in a bid to track down a criminal connected to her past.
