Robbie Williams ends feud with songwriter

Robbie Williams has ended a long-running feud with his former songwriter Guy Chambers, The Sun reports today.

The singer lost the friendship of Chambers after signing a £30 million deal with EMI. Guy asked for more money from Robbie, who refused and ended the partnership.

A source told the newspaper, "Robbie and Guy have made their peace. They were so close for such a long time that they both found it difficult to forgive and move on. But they are both pleased that they are on speaking terms again."

Guy claimed that Robbie became obsessed with money after signing his new contract with EMI.

"He was about to sign this massive deal and the money had become so important to him," Chambers said. "Our parting was very acrimonious."

Responding to the claims, Robbie said, "It wasn't all about money. There were lots of reasons which gathered speed over the years but I still love him. One day we'll be friends."
