Liz Hurley has rubbished rumours suggesting that she only eats one meal a day.
Speaking at the launch of her new range of swimwear, Hurley said that she didn't know why "someone made up that really silly story".
Hurley continued, "It's absolute rubbish because I have a gall stone and low blood sugar so if I had one meal a day I'd be in hospital.
"I actually graze like a rabbit throughout the day. I couldn't possibly skip food. I can't go for more than four hours without eating something or I feel physically sick."
The actress has revealed that she has life as a single mother to thank for her figure.
"I'm very active. I don't have a television set and I do a lot of walking, a lot of gardening, I take the dogs out I run around fields with my son the whole time and carry him for miles," she said.
"My house has five flights of stairs which I spend my life running up and down and I don't sit still very much."
