Britney has no plans to retire

Britney Spears isn't planning on giving up her music career after her baby is born.

The singer has apparently decided to follow in the footsteps of close friend Madonna, and definitely won't be retiring to become a full-time mother.

"She sees Madonna as her inspiration," a friend told the Daily Record. "She can't give up her career because she has so many ambitions left. She's still writing songs and is looking for acting roles because she still feels she has a lot to prove."
